Ginger cat with the words Just what I need!

Designed by vets, loved by pets

We love the curious nature of cats but understand that sometimes they can be a bit mischievous. We’re here to protect your pet and pocket – that’s why our policies have been designed to provide the best value for your feline friend.

Critical Care

Our Critical Care policy is designed to kick in for the ‘big ticket’ pet care costs – only when your pet needs to be admitted to the clinic for emergency surgery or hospitalisation because their life is at risk – including orthopaedic and spinal surgery. There is no excess to pay, and cover for that condition ends when your pet is discharged back to your care. It does not cover outpatient treatment or procedures that could safely be delayed.

Initial Care

Our Initial Care policy covers care for 42 days from the date of your pet’s injury, illness or first vet appointment – whichever comes first – or until you reach your cover limit, if sooner. It’s a time-limited policy – chronic or ongoing conditions are not covered beyond the initial 42-day treatment period. Most ailments or injuries can be dealt with in that time-frame, but you’ll need to pay for any treatment after 42 days yourself.
